Takeaways

My first designathon was fast-paced, intense, and incredibly fun. Working under tight deadlines pushed me to:
Make quick, thoughtful design decisions while staying flexible
Think critically and problem-solve under pressure
Create with intention, making sure the bold colors and unique graphics weren’t just for looks but actually energized and motivated users
Turn ideas into something real in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
This experience gave me a new appreciation for working under pressure and showed me how much I love tackling challenges head-on.
Next Steps
This project gave me a crash course in rapid design and problem-solving under pressure.
Moving forward, I want to:
Refine the app’s user flow based on deeper research and testing
Explore motion design to make interactions feel more engaging
Take on more design challenges, especially in fast-paced environments where creativity and strategy come together
